Session #5 - July 15, 2000
"I get one spring loaded cat per campaign." -- Keeper

In game time: January 18 - 19, 1925
The Victims: Nick, Early, William
Summery: Early heads out to meet Erica Carlyle but she won't let him see the mysterious books.  When the investigators return to the office, they find that the ransacking was just put off for one evening and they proceed to clean up the crime scene.  Carlyle changes her mind the next day and makes arrangements for the investigators to examine the books at an antique dealer.  When they arrive, the dealer has been ritualistically murdered and they find a cat.  William, spots someone watching the store and he follows him to the subway but no further.  The books are missing from the shop.  In order to get their hands on the doctor's notes, Early contacts his brother Farley who happens to be a doctor.  The notes reveal that Roger Carlyle was having strange, Egyptian themed dreams which prominantly featured an oddly formed pyramid.  A bit of research places the pyramid in Dhashur.  A blizzard then snows in the investigators for several days.
Plot threads: What is so important about the pyramid?  Why does the cult want the books?  Are the investigators being followed?

Most Valuable Character: Early who managed to secure the most information in this session
Biggest Blunder: The terror of the spring loaded cat
