Session #2 - June 24, 2000
"Calm down, I'm not the killer!" -- William Hollis

In game time: October 31, 1924
The Victims: Bernard, Nick, Early, William
Summery: The mysterious victim of murder during the seance is quickly reveealed to be magician Blake Lime who had crashed the party.  Nick assists a doctor in trying to save him, but it's too late.  Barnabus is moved to a bedroom upstairs and the investigators attempt to unlock the mechanism that has trapped them and the other party guests in the house with a killer.  William notices a man wearing an inverted ankh searching the library for something and tries to confront him about it, but the man knocks himself out.  William goes to get the doctor to help assist the injured man and as the doctor is checking him over, the doctor is shot and killed as well.  While searching for the possibilty of a secret door used by the killer to evade them, the investigators discover a plastered over niche with a note inside informing them that "the book" had been taken.  Everyone except William goes downstairs and while they're down there the killer attempts to smash William's head in with a bit of morter.  The attempt fails, but as William tries to find the killer he gets stabbed in the back.  Nick rushes to his rescue to wind up in a knife fight with the murderer.  As they are fighting William is able to shoot the killer in the back who is then revealed to be Barnabus Pilkington.

Most Valuable Character: William for taking out the killer despite being seriously wounded himself
Biggest Blunder: William mugging one of the party goers and beating them senseless
