Session #1 - June 10, 2000
"He says the Scotch is better in heaven!" -- Early Hutz

In game time: October 24 - 31, 1924
The Victims: Bernard, Nick, Early, William
Summery: The group gets together for a seance held by Madam Larina along with Simon Theaker and a mysterious "Thomas Harris".  She demonstrates her amazing abilities to speak with the dead astounding all until her abilities are exposed as fraudulant at the height of the seance by Harris who proves to be world famous magician Blake Lime.  To make up for Lime's ruining the seance, Simon invites the group to a Halloween party he's holding at a truly haunted house where another seance will be held this time by Barnabus Pilkington who Sir Arthur Conan Doyle highly recommends.  The players proceed to Sleepy Hollow where the house is and arrive just in time to get locked in by an escape proof system.  Strange occurrances are taking place at the house including a cold spot that mysteriously comes and goes, odd smells, and strange noises.  The investigators discover evidence that someone destroyed a manuscript here and find a ransacked room where some encoded notes are found.  At midnight the seance occurs, but at it's climax the lights go out and when they turn back on again an unidentified guest in a ghost costume has been murdered and Pilkington reduced to catatonia.
Plot threads: Is the house really haunted?  Who was killed, by whom, and why?  What was the person who ransacked the study looking for?

Most Valuable Character: Everyone for being willing to play
Biggest Blunder: Nick thinking that a bone fragment definitely came from a squirrel and looking into any squirrel sacrificing cults.
