Summery of the Carlyle Expedition's Itinerary

This is a summery of the important dates in the Carlyle Expedition's studies in Egypt.  It is not intended to be the entire document, just highlights.

5-4-1919: Expedition arives in Egypt.  The next days are spent hiring diggers and ensuring that everything is in readiness for the digs.

5-11-1919: Initial digs at Giza.  There isn't much luck at this site as most of the areas unearthed have already been looted.

5-23-1919: After abadoning the Giza digs, the expedition moves on early to their second planned site at Saqqara.  They have much better luck here and the daily reports mention many artifacts.

6-18-1919: The group moves on to Dhashur.  Again they find many artifacts even though this is a preliminary survey of the area looking for unknown tombs.

6-30-1919: There's a half entry on this day which concludes that Roger Carlyle collapsed

7-3-1919: Expedition leaves on Safari
